Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher Marriage Talking

Carrie Underwood declared on her fansite, writing "I'm a married lady now!". She added, "Married life is pretty much like dating life. My husband is back in Canada...story of my life!"

The newlywed Carrie shared her happiness over her marriage, "I know how blessed I am. I know how special these things are. There is nothing in the world that I could possibly ask for because you can't add to perfection!"

Meanwhile, his hubby Ottawa Senators centre Mike Fisher has said that his wedding to Carrie was everything he hoped for.

"The whole weekend is almost like a blur," Fisher told of the wedding. "The ceremony was really nice, the pastor did a great job, the reception was a lot of fun. Just to have everyone close to us around was a big deal. A wedding's not nearly as much fun without those close family and friends with you." He added, "The whole day was great. It was everything we both wanted it to be."

when asked about their Tahitian honeymoon, Fisher replied, "We had an awesome time...It was the longest time she's had off in the last five years. That was probably the longest time I've ever been away, too. We had so much fun."

He added that he's still not used to the glam and paparazzi that follow his new wife. "It is what it is. I'm never really used to it. She's used to it, but it's a little different for me and learning to deal with it. It's part of life I guess now and you can use it for good or bad too. If I'm with her, they're not looking at me, so that's good."

The couple, who married on July 10, are living many miles apart right now, because their careers won't give them too much time in the same city.
