Carrie Underwood Nabs Six ACM NodsPosted on Mar 03, 2010
The 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards nominations were announced on Tuesday, March 2. Carrie Underwood scored six ACM nods. She returns again to compete Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, George Strait, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban and the Zac Brown Band for "Entertainer of the Year".
Underwood is also nominated as an artist and composer for Song of the Year for "Cowboy Casanova," Vocal Event of the Year for "I Told You So" with Randy Travis. In addition, She is up for Top Female Vocalist, which she has won three times, and Album of the Year for "Play On."
The awards air live from MGM Grand in Las Vegas on CBS at 8 p.m. on April 18 and will be hosted for the 12th time by country legend Reba McEntire.
