This auction is just one way CMT is helping aid good causes. 2009 CMT Music Awards is also doing away with the traditional artist gift bags for and donating $20,000 to Feeding America. That donation will provide meals for 130 children during the entire 2009-2010 school year through the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee's BackPack Program.

Carrie Underwood's ex-flame, Chace Crawford has revealed to People about his romance with the country singer as an "awesome" experience. "I have nothing bad to say about that experience. It was awesome," he said. "I just didn't know how to deal with it. I learned a ton about dating someone in that kind of spotlight. It was such a whirlwind, but no regrets." The pair dated from July 2007 until March 2008.

Carrie Underwood and Alan Jackson are the latest performers with attractions on tap that expand the dizzying opportunities to connect to country's star as the CMA Music Festival held at Nashville next week. The Festival centers on nightly concerts June 11-14 at the Tennessee Titans' stadium, LP Field, with some of the genre's biggest names and daily concerts at Riverfront Park. Meanwhile, Carrie Underwood will be performing on the Tuesday edition of the Grand Ole Opry, sharing with other talent, including Lorrie Morgan, Ricky Skaggs, Charlie Daniels, Trace Adkins and Little Jimmy Dickens.
